At the Neonatal Kidney Collaborative, we believe that partnering with families, patients and others with lived experiences is essential to improving outcomes for newborns with or at risk for kidney disease. Families help shape everything that we do. This includes our research by identifying meaningful goals and outcomes that truly matter to patients, and educational resources to assure our message is meaningful to families. Through ongoing collaboration, we strive to ensure that the work of the NKC reflects the voices, experiences, and needs of the families we serve.
