Welcome to the Education Committee!

The purpose of the Education Committee is to support high-quality education in the care of neonates and infants with or at risk for acute and chronic kidney disease. Our goal is to provide accessible, evidence-based resources that inform clinical practice and support ongoing learning in neonatal nephrology.

Through our Resource Library, we make scientific literature and educational material easily accessible to health care providers (physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, fellows, residents, students, and others involved in the care of these patients.

The Committee also organizes educational symposia and offers a professional development series focused on important and emerging topics in neonatal kidney care. The goal of these efforts is to promote shared knowledge, collaboration, and continuous professional growth within the neonatal nephrology community.

The Education Committee holds professional development talks to provide career development resources for NKC members beneficial to both Neonatology and Nephrology.

Career development webinars are intended for faculty, trainees, and other professionals involved in neonatal nephrology care and/or research. Covered in the webinars are topics such as publishing your work, funding, academic career paths, converting educational and clinical work into scholarly products, time management and mentoring, among others.

These talks are recorded and made available to NKC members to revisit.
