Mission
The NKC's mission is to improve the health of newborns with or at risk for kidney disease through multidisciplinary collaborative research, advocacy, and education.
Vision
Our vision is to end preventable kidney disease in hospitalised neonates, minimise morbidity and mortality related to neonatal kidney disease and provide equitable kidney care for neonates across Australia and New Zealand
Purpose
The NKC ANZ Chapter recognises the high burden of kidney disease in newborns across Australia and New Zealand, and exists to facilitate awareness, advocacy and service development in neonatal care through education and coordination of local research contributions to international projects.
Values
The ANZ NKC chapter promotes rigorous, collaborative research, strong mentorship with networking opportunities, and sustainability of the organization through collegiality, inclusiveness, transparency, efficiency and productivity.
